You might think I’d get sick of reading reviews of The Corpse-Rat King that use phrases like “absolutely bloody brilliant” and “utter genius”.
You’d be wrong.
You’d be very wrong.
From now on, you may refer to me as Mister Campbell Gilliam-Gaiman McPython.
Ooooooohhhhh, look what arrive in the mail last night:
The first Corpse-Rat King ARC. The very first appearance of my novel in real, dead-wood, destruction of the rainforests pulp and print.
Ain’t she pretty?
And the reviews are starting to roll in, too. Over at The Troubled Scribe
, it’s been awarded 7 out of 10 Liams
, with marks taken off because my hero is too complex. I’ll take that sort of markdown any day, especially when it’s accompanied by phrases like “distinctive voice”, “pure brilliance” and “beyond spectacular”.
You know you want to buy this book. You do. I want to buy it, and I know what happens… 🙂
