I regularly conduct workshops and make appearances at Festivals, writing nights, and groups to discuss writing and teach skills development.
I charge Australian Society of Authors standard rates, unless otherwise negotiated. In general these are:
- Whole day (max. 6 hours) $880
- Half day (max. 3 hours) $550
- Per session (max. 1 hour) $350
- Keynotes $1000 (This does not include online or print publication – which must be negotiated separately).
- Weekly rate (max. 5 days – average 6 hours per day) $3600

2 March 2017 – I’ll be on stage with a veritable menagerie of children’s authors at the Bendat Parent and Community Centre at 36 Dodd Street, Wembley, for the Children’s Book Council of WA‘s A Night With Our Stars. I’ll be joined by the likes of James Foley, Norman Jorgensen, Meg Caddy, Kylie Howarth, Teena Raffa-Mulligan, and Dianne Wolfer as we discuss our latest works.
17 – 20 May 2017 – I’ll be appearing at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content in Singapore. While there, I will be appearing on panel and conducting an all day Master Class on ‘Writing the Weird’. For full details, check here.
10-24 July 2017 – I’ll be the Established Writer-in-Residence at the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre in Greenmount. I’ll be working on a new project, as well as mentoring, conducting workshops, and visiting the Centre’s writing groups to talk shop. More details as they are confirmed.
